Steps of Faith

I received an email from one of our friends in Pakistan and they are asking for prayer.  Here is what they sent us.

Greetings in the Name of Jesus!

I would like to inform you that we are going to four big cities Karachi, Lahore , Faisalabad and  Gujranwala of Pakistan to spread the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We are arranging public meetings, leader’s seminars and Sunday schools teachers training on 2nd -15th Feb2008.

We would like to request you please pray for us and you can also support our ministries for Missions 2008 for Pakistan.

Please welcome and pray for Faith Institute of Rural Evangelism. Their goal is Reaching the unreached tribal groups who live in the jungles, away from the mainstream of life. Planting Churches among 4 different tribal groups called Lambadi,Koya,Konda Reddi and Yanadi. Lord helped us to plant 70 Churches and it’s our vision to plant 300 Churches.

Recently someone donated a laptop to FCM with the wishes that it be used to help some of the missionaries on the front line. We gave the laptop a complete cleaning and wiped out any data from the previous user. Then we ensure that it had the necessary software and then shipped it to one of the missionaries that we support in Ghana.

I ask that everyone would keep the missionaries that are part of the FCM teams in their prayers. The missionaries in Pakistan are going through a very troubled time. Here is an email that I received from on of the missionaries from Pakistan:

Dear Brother Michael,

As you know about condition of our country after the death of former prime minister and popular recent prime minister candidate Benazir Bhutto was killed this week and plunged Pakistan into a time of restlessness and insecurity.We have lost many friends Christians and Muslims.We want request you to pray and support to our nation. we have opened kitchens for all victims people. you can send your funds via bank or western union. I will be very grateful you and your ministries.

I want also request you please announcement to your ministries and churches to support our nation.
